SWAN Business and Professional Woman of the Year

This award is designed to recognize and honor a woman who has made an extraordinary contribution to women, business and Skagit County.
A Nominee Should Demonstrate:
Eligibility: She lives or works in Skagit County and actively contributes to our community.
Excellence: She demonstrates excellence in her work, including contributions to professional associations within her field.
Professionalism: She actively promotes professionalism of women in business, including contributions to the community, networking and serving as a mentor to other business people.
Contributions: She makes outstanding contributions to her community including service in charitable or non-profit groups and volunteer activities that enhance the quality of life in Skagit County.
Direction: The following form is broken up into three parts. First your information, followed by your nomination and lastly we would ask that you describe why you are endorsing this woman for this honor. There is not a size limit so you may be as thorough as you desire with your thoughts. You may also upload an image or document (if you prefer to write your statement in a word editor).
It is important to note that this is not a popularity contest; each submission is taken seriously with the utmost respect to the woman. While it has not been stated that you can not nominate more than one person; your ip address information will be collected and potentially used to reference uniqueness submissions for candidates (in other words- please only vote once for the same person- as stated before this is not a popularity vote so that will not help).
