SWAN High Tea

As part of the 25th anniversary celebration the 2009 SWAN Board hosted a summer tea party to honor past Women of the Year recipients.

High Tea was served at LaConnor Flats on a beautiful afternoon in Skagit Valley.

Twelve previous winners were present to share their stories and achievements while enjoying scones, fresh fruit, tea sandwiches and cookies with many of the SWAN Board members.

Members of this elite group included:

First row: Susan Cook (2000), Nan Hough (1992), Jan Ellingson (2008), Judy Menish (1986)
2nd row: Cheryl Bishop (1988), Debra Lancaster (2002), Shirley Osborne (1999), Carol Poppe (1985, the first Women of the Year)
3rd row: Pat Hyatt (1991), BJ Kendall (1989), Laura Cailloux (2005), Judi Knutzen (1995)

 
The tea party was such a success that the Board has decided to make it an annual event.
