The primary purpose of this board is to encourage and promote the exchange of information, ideas and support throughout the various groups, as well as the benefit of all women.

SWAN’s objective is to produce and promote the Skagit Valley celebration of National Women’s Week held during the third full week of October each year. Business and Professional Women (BPW) instigated this week-long celebration in 1928.
